USP Contests for Ten Districts in the General Election

USP spokesman told LankSocialist that the USP is contesting for ten districts in the April 2010 general elections.  These districts are Colombo, Jaffna, Trincomalee, Nuwara Eliya, Kegalle, Galle, Matara, Ratnapura, Hambantota, and Monaragala.

Previously, Lankasocialist reported the number of districts as nine.

Further, LankaSocialist was informed that the USP has already started the election campaign in the districts they contest. The USP fights for a true working class alternative which will secure the rights of all Sri Lankans.
